Now that you've had an opportunity to engage with the Inclusive CS Teaching Resources and the COE CS Champion Workshop Roles and Expectations Checklist, please engage with our Resource Review Reflection Padlet Activity and respond to the following prompts:
Please share the Inclusive CS teaching strategy you engaged with and share a reflection on the resources you reviewed and ways you might utilize insights shared in the planning and delivery of professional learning.
What might be some strategies teachers can use to support student understanding of and interaction with the computer science content standards?
How can/have you developed and delivered High-quality professional learning in computer science?
What are the essential elements to foster equity in computer science?
Please offer a reflection on the contributions of other champions and facilitators.
Specific to COE CS Champions:
Prepare to discuss components of the COE CS Champion Roles and Expectations Checklist with your facilitators and to respond to any questions they have as they plan for 90 minutes of asynchronous activities their workshop registrants can engage in following the kick off meeting. Facilitators will have approx. 25 minutes to engage workshop registrants during the "Meet Your Facilitator" segment where the asynchronous activities can be shared.
If you have any questions about the above items, please email Omar Shepherd at omar.shepherd@sbcss.net
