What is 2026 CSPDWeek?
The 2026 CSPDWeek is a weeklong, statewide, teacher-directed professional learning experience, offered at no cost to eligible participants, focused on computer science. It offers hands-on workshops and opportunities for educator collaboration and community-building.
The event will be held at the Westin Long Beach, CA, from July 20–24, 2026. Participants may register for one workshop for the full week.
Eligible participants may receive a $250 daily stipend and travel reimbursement upon confirmed full and active participation throughout the workshop.
Full and active participation includes:
Attending the Virtual 2026 CSPDWeek Kick-Off event on July 8, 2026
Attending the entirety of each scheduled workshop day, beginning on July 20, 2026, and ending on July 24, 2026
Actively engaging in required learning activities
Completing assigned asynchronous work as directed by facilitators.
Full and active participation will be confirmed by workshop facilitators and SCOE Seasons of CS staff.
Eligibility
To participate, you must be a California K–12 public school teacher or paraprofessional and commit to implementing the curriculum during the 2026–27 school year.
